Illinois State University Police Department (ISUDP) encourages you to register your bike in the National Bike Registry (NBR). Having your bike registered is an easy and efficient way for the police to identify and return your bike if stolen.
This is how it works: After you register, NBR will send you a Certificate of Registration and a tamper-resistant NBR label that helps identify your bike. If your bike is ever stolen and recovered, it can be quickly identified and returned no matter where it is. The NBR charges a small fee for this service.
