Volunteer & Ride Along Requests

The Illinois State University Police Department allows those age 18 or over to volunteer, observe, or ride along with an officer (to include unpaid internships), subject to department approval and a limited background check.

Those interested must complete the PDF form below and return the completed copies to the ISU Police Department in person, or by mail, email, or fax. A representative will be in contact with you to confirm approval and schedule the date(s) and times.
