Crime Log & Advisories
Crime Advisories are issued in compliance with the Timely Notice provisions of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, a federal statue governing the reporting and disclosure of crimes on college campuses.
Crime Advisories are sent out when a crime occurs on or near campus and does not represent an immediate threat to safety. In addition to appearing here, Crime Advisories are sent to student emails, listed on the Safe Redbirds app, and may be posted to our department's social media accounts when appropriate.
In the case of an imminent threat to safety on campus (ranging from a severe weather situation to an active shooter incident), an Emergency Alert will be issued. Emergency Alerts are sent in partnership with ISU Emergency Management. Students are automatically registered to receive Emergency Alerts, but parents and family members can sign up or learn more here.
