This team of officers, and one special pawfficer, are dedicated to engaging with the campus and providing safety education programming.

Self Defense and Personal Safety
University Police offers a variety of personal safety courses designed to increase personal awareness and enhance campus safety for all Redbirds.

Pawfficer Therapy Dog
This specially trained therapy dog builds bridges between University Police and the campus community through sharing unconditional love at safety education programming and campus events.

Internships and Ride Along Requests
The Illinois State University Police Department allows those age 18 or over to intern (unpaid), observe, or ride along with an officer, subject to department approval and a limited background check.
